What you look at, how you look, and whom you allow to look at you. These have never been merely aesthetic choices.
They concern a more subtle form of power:
Who holds the right to define?
Who holds the right to be seen?
And who holds the right to refuse being defined?
Feralhook was born from a simple idea: to reclaim the gaze.

The Y2K era left behind a host of highly distinctive visual symbols: butterflies, boxy frames, oversized sunglasses, rhinestones, metallic finishes, and exaggerated silhouettes.
People have labeled these elements in various ways: sexy, sweet, materialistic, childish, or attention-seeking. Feralhook rejects the conventional standard of “being seen”.
Softness is not weakness. Sparkle is not an attempt to please. Sexiness is not submission.
Being beautiful does not mean being harmless. You can be gentle while maintaining sharp boundaries; refined while refusing to be tamed.

We also believe that things once deemed “wrong” do not necessarily need fixing.

What truly needs to change may never have been us. It is the rules that demand we become more normal, more likable, or safer.
